It’s that time of the year again.
The City of Belleville is accepting nominations until March 2 to recognize local sports achievements through its Honours and Awards Program.
Any athlete or teams of any sports organization within the city limits who have won an Ontario or Canadian Championship or have been chosen as a representative at any International Games in 2017 can be nominated.
Nomination forms are available at the Recreation, Culture and Community Services Office at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. An electronic version is also available by emailing prgeneral@city.belleville.on.ca.
The Recognition of 2017 Sports Achievements will take place in May.
