Roads and highways could be slick in spots and some sideroads could still be covered in heavy
snow.
There were several accidents overnight on the 401 and elsewhere as vehicles slid off into ditches or into the median.
No serious injuries were reported.
The 401 is open to traffic this morning, but you should drive with caution.
Meanwhile, Belleville police officers had to write up reports on several accidents in the city yesterday.
There were a total of eight collisions between noon and 11 o’clock last night. There were no serious injuries and the damage was generally minor.
A 33-year-old Consecon man was charged with driving while under suspension as a result of one collision investigation.
