A two month drug investigation in Belleville has led to the arrest of five people.
Last Thursday, the Intelligence and Street Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team and the OPP raided two homes in west end Belleville.
Officers seized heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.
Twenty-seven-year-old Kadeem Francis of Ajax, 19-year-old Michael Currie of Pickering, 18-year-old Jayson Powell of Pickering, 34-year-old Jennifer Millar of Belleville, 26-year-old Stephanie Maracle of Belleville and a youth, are all charged with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as once count each of possession of property obtained by crime.
They will appear in court March 19th.
