Operation Red Nose Quinte is one of the busiest safe drive home organizations in the country.
Out of 96 Operation Red Nose groups across Canada, the local chapter was the 13th busiest.
Around $30,000 was raised by Operation Red Nose last Christmas season, with $22,000 going to the YMCA’s Strong Kids campaign, and another $8,000 going to Camp Trillium, a camp for children with cancer.
The total was down from last year, but the 2017 campaign ran on just 13 nights, while in 2016, it was a 17 night effort.
