QHC Board Chair Stuart Wright says they followed the legislation to a T.
Wright says the model revealed that a 5% payout year over year would go to the top executives.
If the full 5% is paid out, it would mean just over $73,000, divided between the seven senior staff.
Wright says the main goal of this province-wide proposal is to ensure equality in pay, but also the ability to attract and retain top executives.
The public has an opportunity to comment on the proposal, until February 21st.
