A Belleville elementary school is getting some re-development funding from the Ministry of Education.
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board announced Tuesday that the Ministry is providing $7.3 million towards constructing an addition to St. Joseph Catholic School in the east end of Belleville.
This includes replacement of an older two storey wing.
The project is currently set to be completed for September 2020.
This project and others are part of Ontario’s investment of $784 million to build 39 new schools and renovate and expand another 40.
