The downtown Belleville revitalization project moves on this spring and the work will affect the Farmers Market in Market Square.
Because of the construction, 23 of the 80 stalls available at the market will be lost, some for the entire season.
At its meeting this afternoon, city council will be asked to waive this year’s fees for the vendors because of the disruption to the market at a total cost to the city of $10,000.
