The search of a Township of Madoc property frequented by a man charged with two counts of first degree murder, picked up steam dramatically Saturday.
Nine police vehicles, including an OPP Mobile Command Centre and a Toronto Police Forensics unit, are on scene along with over a dozen officers.
Also involved are K9 teams, featuring German Shepherd dogs.
Sixty-six-year-old Bruce McArthur was charged by Toronto Police after two men went missing from the city’s Gay Village neighbourhood.
Their bodies have not been found but recently discovered evidence has proven their deaths.
Toronto Police say they believe there are more victims and are also searching four other properties in Toronto affiliated with McArthur.
A source close to the investigation tells Quinte News that police could be searching for eight people.
