If you’ve fallen victim to the “Western Union Scam” that’s been making the rounds, there’s some good news, you can now apply to get your money back.
OPP say people who sent money to scammers via Western Union, between January 1st, 2004 and January 19, 2017 (Today), can apply to the Federal Trade Commission to get their money back.
Claims can be filed through the FTC’s Western Union Refund page and must be filed by February 12th, of this year.
