A Belleville woman has been sentenced to jail for stealing thousands of dollars from her employer.
Thirty-eight-year-old Christine Sheahan was handed a 90-day intermittent jail sentence and put on 12 months probation after pleading guilty to one count of theft.
She was also ordered to pay $15,000 restitution to the business, which is the amount of money she stole between June 2014 and May of 2016, when she was arrested.
Court heard Sheahan was in charge of managing deposits.
