The Municipality of Brighton is the fastest growing community in the Quinte region and that growth has put a strain on Brighton’s main healthcare facility.
The Physician Recruitment and Advisory Committee says the Brighton Health Services Centre is running out of space for new doctors and other health service providers.
It is asking council to support an expansion of the facility.
Brighton council will discuss the issue at its meeting Monday night.
