Expect some delays if you are travelling on Main Street in Wellington today.
The County says their Water and Wastewater Department are working to repair a water main break between Conley Road and Belleville Street.
There may be lane restrictions in place while the repairs are underway.
Work is expected to be completed around 6 p.m.
Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
These repairs are not expected to impact water quality, however, residents living in the area may experience a partial or complete loss of pressure and/or coloured water while construction is taking place. The water remains safe to drink throughout the duration of construction.
To address pressure loss and the potential of coloured water, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once maintenance is complete and regular water service is restored.
