Brighton council will begin its 2018 operating budget deliberations at a meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) night.
Municipal staff will present a preliminary budget to council showing an increase of 3.4% from last year.
However, when assessment growth from new development is factored in, the actual tax increase would be just 1.2%.
The budget discussions begin at 6:30 tomorrow evening in Brighton council chambers.
