Belleville Chief Ron Gignac and Deputy Chief Mike Callaghan wish to invite the public to a talk with the Chiefs.
They want to know your opinion on how the Belleville Police are doing. The focus of this discussion is to find out how the police service is doing, what’s been successful, and what recommendations and solutions individuals have for any problems identified in the realm of public safety.
The Belleville Police Service wants Belleville to be the safest Community in Ontario and know that this is attainable when citizens, businesses, city leaders, schools, service clubs and police all work together with focused precision toward that visionary goal.
The first talk will take place on January 30th at 6:30 p.m. at the Gerry Masterson Centre in Thurlow.
The second session will take place on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Parkdale Community Centre in Belleville.
The Chiefs will begin the meet and greet with a short presentation and there will be coffee and light snacks provided.
The Belleville Police Traffic Safety Team will also be in attendance and will have the new ALPRS (Automated License Plate Recognition System vehicle) and will give a short presentation on this great crime fighting, and traffic safety instrument they have.
