A hydro pole was snapped in two early yesterday morning (Boxing Day) in east end Belleville.
The pole was damaged due to a collision between a car and a snowplow. No one was injured but a crew from Veridian had to repair the pole along Dundas Street East.
The collision occured at 6:45 yesterday morning. The car was heavily damaged and one driver was charged with failing to yield to traffic.
Meanwhile later yesterday morning at 10:45, Belleville police dealt with a dispute in the Quinte Mall parking lot. A man had punched out the window of a car. An investigation continues.
