The United Way Hastings and Prince Edward has reached two-thirds of its goal.
Today, just over 1.3 million dollars has been raised for dozens of local charities and community
organizations.
Cathie West, Executive Director of Youth Habitation Quinte, says without United Way funding there
would definitely be gaps in the services provided.
Two weeks are left in this year’s campaign and there are excellent tax credits available for first time donors and
100% matching funds coming from the Maurice Rollins Leadership Challenge Fund.
