Police officers, firefighters and paramedics were kept hopping dealing with minor issues like vehicles in ditches or more serious collisions, including head on collisions.
There were injuries, but details aren’t available, although Belleville police say they dealt with 10 collisions yesterday, most caused by the snowfall.
In one, a 17 year old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle but was lucky to escape with very minor injuries. The driver in that mishap was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
Slow down your driving this morning as streets, roads and highways are snow covered and slippery.
