As we continue to tee up 2018, we have talked to both of our local representatives from Parliament Hill.
MP Mike Bossio says on the heels of a strong 2017, we need to support those most vulnerable in 2018.
Bossio says the riding has a high poverty and food insecurity rate.
Bossio says we have a lot of work to do, but the good news is the economy is booming.
He says when we give that money to local residents, they spend that money locally, which helps the economy in Hastings Lennox and Addington.
He adds that infrastructure in the 19 local municipalities will also be critical to keeping the riding strong.
