There was a heavy police presence in Trenton early this morning as Quinte West OPP officers along with K9 and Emergency Response Teams searched for a distraught man.
Officers tried to stop a man in a vehicle but the vehicle was abandoned and he took off on foot after midnight.
Fortunately, he returned to his residence shortly before 2 o’clock this morning.
The search was concentrated between Dundas East and Curtis Road.
