8 Wing Trenton made a $125,000 donation to the United Way of Hastings and Prince Edward.
It looked like 8 Wing would be short of their goal by $724 at last night’s event but Honorary Colonel John Williams made a $500 donation, followed by Corporal Kyriakos Michelakis who covered the remainder.
Major Chris Hepburn says it’s important to give back as this is the community they work, live and play in.
