2017 was a very busy year in the Bay of Quinte riding.
It included the arrival of a casino and a professional hockey team, Canada 150 celebrations with Prince Charles, and major infrastructure work.
MP Neil Ellis says the national housing strategy and its focus locally is a major priority for the year ahead.
He adds it is not the only focus however.
