A Trenton native has been hired to fill a new position within the municipality.
Hannah Brown has been tapped for the newly-created position of Community Engagement Officer and will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, and driving community development.
The position was created to help the city increase transparency, promote civic engagement and improve communication with citizens.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Design from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design as well as a certificate in public relations from Loyalist College.
Most recently, Brown worked as the Communications Coordinator for the Batawa Ski Hill and Batawa Development Corportation.
