Some lucky charity donors could get to challenge the Belleville Senators to a hockey game.
United Way Hastings and Prince Edward and Belleville Senators are uniting in the fight against poverty.
On Wednesday, they will launch a special challenge to community leaders to join them.
Since 2008, Maurice Rollins has challenged leaders to contribute $1000 to the United Way Campaign and see their donations matched 100%.
To date, Rollins has committed $500,000 to the United Way.
Now, the Belleville Senators are challenging the public to participate in the 2018 exhibition game with their club: “The Challenge Against Poverty”.
Local donors in the leadership category will face off against the B-Sens for an exhibition game in the new year.
The details will be announced on Wednesday.
