An early morning accident has closed both lanes of the westbound 401 this morning.
The OPP are reporting that both lanes of the highway are closed between Palace Road and Camden East Road just east of Napanee.
Sources to Quinte News say a tractor trailer is involved.
The detour will take drivers through Napanee following the EDR.
There is no time estimate given as to when the highway will be re-opened.
