Belleville Mayor Taso Christopher accepted a $10,000 donation on behalf of the city from the Belleville Garden Club Thursday.
The ceremony was held at the new Memorial Park gazebo.
The club made the contribution toward the re-development of Memorial Gardens, at the corner of North Park Street and Bell Boulevard.
