The Western Mustangs are Vanier Cup champions and a Belleville native is among the victors.
Offensive lineman Jeremy O’Neil, a graduate of Moira Secondary, plays for the London university, which defeated Laval in the final last week.
The game finished 39-17 Saturday in Hamilton at Tim Hortons Field (home of the Tiger Cats of the CFL).
The 21-year-old is studying Business at Western.
