If you’re planning on heading towards the routes of the Santa Claus parades in Frankford and Quinte West this weekend, be prepared to wait a little bit.
On Saturday, Frankford motorists can expect delays in the area of Mill Street and South Trent Street will be closed in the village from approximately 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
For the Quinte West parade on Sunday, motorists can expect traffic delays on Dundas Street East and West, as well as on Bay Street and Couch Crescent and the side streets in and around the parade route.
The disruptions for that parade will be between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Motorists are asked to find alternative routes during these times and exercise patience around the parade routes.
