Ontario’s Liberal government will continue trying to push through a back-to-work bill for college faculty as the legislature sits this weekend.
The government first introduced the legislation on Thursday, but the opposition NDP has prevented it from passing too quickly.
Hundreds of thousands of college students (including those at Loyalist College), have been out of class since faculty went on strike five weeks ago.
They could be back in class by Tuesday if the Liberal back-to-work legislation passes this weekend.
