Two men from our area have been arrested after a traffic stop in Havelock.
Peterborough OPP made the stop on George Street in Havelock around 10:15 last night and found a quantity of drugs and a gun in the vehicle.
Information on the type of drugs seized was not released, but 34-year-old Wayne Lane of Cramahe Township and 54-year-old Raymond Bronson of Stirling-Rawdon are facing charges.
Those charges include two counts each of possessing a schedule two substance and possessing a schedule one substance, as well as being in a vehicle and knowing a gun was inside.
Lane is also charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited and was held for a bail hearing in Peterborough today.
Bronson was released on a promise to appear on December 14th.
