A woman was taken to hospital following a single vehicle highway accident in the Colborne/Grafton area.
Just after noon, a car was reported in the ditch along the westbound 401, near the Lyle Street exit.
The woman and her dog managed to escape the vehicle on their own.
Northumberland Fire and OPP were both on the scene.
All lanes are open, but you’re being asked to drive carefully near the scene if you’re heading that way this afternoon.
