A man from Quebec has been arrested after reportedly going the wrong way on the 401 Wednesday evening.
OPP were called just before 7:00 p.m., after reports of the vehicle going eastbound in the westbound lanes, in Napanee.
The car eventually got off the highway and was involved in two fail to remain crashes.
Officers tracked down the driver and he was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries, before being arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Dany Barbier is charged with dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, breaching probation and two counts of failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
