A 46-year-old Belleville woman got into a lot of trouble driving to a school to pick up her children late yesterday afternoon.
Belleville police say a vehicle crashed into a hydro pole, knocking down wires on Dunbar Street in the city’s west end around 4:30.
The driver drove away from the collision but was located a short distance away. A witness in another vehicle had recorded the incident on a dash cam.
The woman was charged with impaired driving and having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in her blood.
No one was injured.
