A new event for the United Way of Quinte is going to take participants back to the times of prohibition.
The first annual Bootlegger’s Bash happens Saturday November 18th at Signal Brewery in Cannifton.
Jodi Cooper is the United Way Marketing Manager and says the event highlights the area’s rich history in rum running
She says there is dancing, a Juno nominated jazz group, food, an auction, a cigar bar, a signature drink and a best dressed contest as well.
