The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation wants to remind you that supporting the upcoming Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign can also pay dividends for other community organizations.
The Legion presented a cheque back in April for $3,000 to the PECMHF, with those funds coming from last year’s Poppy Campaign.
Over the past 10 years the campaign has donated more than $80,300 to the foundation.
The money goes directly to the purchase of priority medical equipment at the Picton hospital site.
Poppy sales this year begin tomorrow and run until Remembrance Day on November 11th.
