This driver would definitely have flunked a driver’s license test.
Someone drove a vehicle into the bay at the South George Street boat launch in Belleville around 11 o’clock last night (Tuesday).
When police arrived, no one was in the partially submerged vehicle or anywhere near it.
Police soon located the owner who admitted driving the vehicle into the water.
An investigation continues.
Meanwhile, Belleville police recovered the second of two stolen trucks from Belleville’s east end yesterday.
Both a pickup and a van stolen the same night have now been recovered. Police have no suspects.
