There could be some wet surprises out there on streets, roads and highways.
Around 4 o’clock this morning there was a short, but very intense rainstorm.
It was described as a “torrential downpour” by someone caught in it.
Officials at CFB Trenton’s meteorological section say about 14 millimetres of rain fell at the base between 1 and 5 this morning.
Most of that 14 mm fell in the short downpour, causing some minor flooding.
