A 34-year-old man faces charges in connection with several vehicle break-ins in Belleville.
Over the last week, police received several calls from residents who found their vehicle windows smashed and items stolen.
Officers responded to a suspicious person report in the west end around 7:30 yesterday morning and arrested one man.
John Willis of no fixed address is charged with possession of stolen property, possession of break and enter tools and theft in relation to a generator which was stolen from a west end residence yesterday.
The generator was recovered and police are working on contacting the owners of the remaining recovered property.
