A vacant property in the south of Belleville has been sold.
Quinte News has learned that the property, just south of the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse has been sold, with a closing date set for January.
We are being told that it is zoned for a 15 floor condo building, with 97 units.
Joe Shunock with Ekort Realty says the property is at the corner of Dundas Street West and Coleman, and is three separate pieces of land.
Shunock says the same purchaser took all three portions of land, however he cannot release what the buyer intends to do with the site.
He says just because it is zoned for a condo building, does not mean that is what the final product will be.
