Staff with the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation are all smiles, after a nearly $5,000 donation from the annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign.
Tim Hortons made a cheque presentation in Picton Thursday, bringing the total donation to the foundation, from the restaurant, to just under $24,000 over five years.
With another successful campaign in 2018, the restaurant would reach the $25,000 benefactor level on the hospital’s donor wall and staff at Tim Hortons feel like that goal is attainable.
The money will go directly towards the purchase of priority medical equipment at the Picton hospital.
