There was quite a scare overnight for the family and friends of former Olympian boxer and former Belleville resident Shawn O’Sullivan.
The 55 year old O’Sullivan, who recently moved from Belleville to Newmarket, was reported missing yesterday afternoon (Monday) after walking away from his residence.
York Region Police tweeted out missing person notices online and at about midnight came news that Shawn had been found, and was in good condition.
O’Sullivan won a silver medal for Canada as a light-heavyweight boxer at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
