Belleville Police tracked down and arrested a Belleville man on weapons charges yesterday afternoon.
Around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a 911 call that a male suspect had pointed a handgun at a 16-year old male pedestrian in the area of Adam Street and Cannifton Road.
Police searched the area and later located the suspect vehicle in the Foxboro area.
The 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested without incident and placed in custody for a bail hearing.
The investigation is continuing.
