Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for our region.
Gusty winds of over 80 kmh could develop overnight with the arrival of a cold front.
Sustained winds could run at 60 kmh.
The wind could cause damage to soft objects such as tents and awnings, and can toss loose items around.
The forecast also calls for showers and the chance of heavy thunderstorms overnight.
Showers are expected to end in the morning, along with the high winds, but Sunday will still be a breezy day.
