Budding nature photographers will want to get their cameras ready and submit some shots to the Quinte Conservation Photo Contest.
The contest is being run in conjunction with QC’s 70th anniversary and features three categories.
The “people” category will include shots showing someone enjoying a recreational activity in a local conservation area, the “wildlife” category would include photos of animals in their natural habitats and the “landscapes category” will showcase the natural beauty of the Quinte Conservation Watershed.
There are six prize packages up for grabs, with the grand prize including a family pass to Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto, a $250 Via Rail credit, Stirling Festival Theatre Tickets, a gift card to Ivanhoe Cheese and a camping package.
You can email your entries to photocontest@quinteconservation.ca, by October 31st, to enter.
Full contest rules can be found by visiting the Quinte Conservation Website.
