Tyendinaga Township and Lennox and Addington County are looking at a traffic project, which could cost some serious cash.
At Monday night’s municipal meeting, Tyendinaga councillors were updated on a proposal for safety improvements for Deseronto at Belleville Road.
Currently Belleville Road is a throughway, while at Deseronto Road there are stop signs.
Township Clerk Steve Mercer says Lennox and Addington wants to put in a roundabout.
Mercer adds they are also looking at Highway #2 and #49, where there is a four way stop.
He says there are also higher than normal collisions there.
A report is expected back to council in the coming months.
