Quinte News has reached out to local residents who are down near the strip in Las Vegas, this after the largest mass shooting in US history.
515 plus are injured, another 58 plus dead, while concert goers were at a Jason Aldean show.
Cathy Del Grosso is a Belleville resident and is staying close to the shooting site. She says they were on their way to the hotel, when they saw chaos in the streets.
Del Grosso adds they saw one person on a stretcher.

Local Realtor Connie Carson is in Las Vegas with her daughter Julie.
She says when they go down, they typically stay close to the shooting site, but were well away and are safe.
She was staying at the Golden Nugget, about a 15 minute drive to the Mandalay Bay.
