The “Hamburglar” is now a Belleville Senator.
Goaltender Andrew Hammond cleared waivers today and has been assigned to the local AHL club.
Hammond will join fellow B-Sens netminders Danny Taylor, Marcus Hogberg and Chris Driedger in the Friendly City.
The White Rock, B.C. native was the star of the hockey world in the 2014-15 season with the NHL Ottawa Senators, where he posted a 20-1-2 record in 24 games.
