The offensive firepower came back in a big way for the Trenton Golden Hawks Tuesday night.
Following a shutout at the hands of the Aurora Tigers in a scoreless tie on Friday, the Golden Hawks came flying back with seven goals in a 7-4 victory over the Lindsay Muskies on the road.
Kevin Stiles, Mac Lewis and Rex Moe each had two goals in the win, Ryan Brown added the other. Cal Walker posted three assists, while Brandon Marinelli chipped in with two.
Stiles’ two markers were his first OJHL goals. He says he’s happy with the effort from his linemates in kick-starting the Trenton offence.
Will Rawski stopped 35 of 39 shots for his first victory of the season in his first game between the pipes for the Golden Hawks.
Trenton is home to their East Division rivals, the Cobourg Cougars Friday at 8 p.m. at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens.
