A 26-year-old Picton man will serve 45 days in jail on weekends, was given three months probation, and is banned from driving for three years after an all-terrain vehicle collided with an OPP cruiser in downtown Picton late in July.
Terry Fennemore was sentenced on an impaired driving charge in a Picton courtroom last week, while other charges, including driving with no plates, were withdrawn.
The OPP cruiser was damaged in the collision, and two OPP officers suffered minor injuries.
