The Trenton Golden Hawks didn’t have a whole lot of luck on their side in a 5-3 loss to the Kingston Voyageurs on the road Thursday night.
The G-Hawks got many chances, but were thwarted by posts, big saves by Kingston goaltender Trevor Withers and missed open nets.
Captain Mac Lewis had a pair of goals, including one shorthanded, and an assist, and Scoley Dow had the other tally.
Other assists went to Michael Silveri and Zach Senecal.
Carson Poulin stopped 35 of 39 Kingston shots in his first regular season start as a Golden Hawk
Trenton will look to rebound tomorrow night when they welcome in another East division rival, the Whitby Fury, for an 8 p.m. puck drop.
