UPDATE: Northumberland OPP say John Russell has been located.
The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is actively searching for a missing Warkworth area resident and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.
John Joseph Russell, 28 was last seen in the early morning hours of September 10, 2017 in the area of Concession Road 6 East, Warkworth.
He is described as a Caucasian male, 6 2″, 140 lbs, thin build with short dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He is possibly driving a silver 2007 2-door Saturn Ion with Ontario Licence plate #BTHW613.
OPP Constable Steve Bates informed Quinte News a photo of Russell should be available Tuesday morning.
Police and family members are concerned for his well-being and request that if you have seen John to contact Northumberland OPP toll-free 1-888-310-1122 or your nearest police service.
